The Forbes article speaks to how this bill is a handout for the very wealthy, stating that households making $35k (< 1% of income ) or less would get a tax reduction of $150-$160, those making $217k+ would get a $12,500 reduction (0.4% of income), while those making $460k - $1.1M would ~$21k reduction (4.4% of their income).

A Class-Action Lawsuit Aims to Restore Climate and Environmental Grants by Amy Green for Inside Climate News

As many of you reading this firsthand have experienced the chaos of the current admin revoking funding for environmental justice and climate, a group of leading climate litigation firms such as Southern Environmental Law Center, Earth Justice, and Lawyers for Good Government are representing 350 organizations in a class action suit against the EPA’s actions. From the article:

“People were disillusioned before we got these grants. This area has a very long history of being extracted from, being overlooked, being looked down upon, and our organization—especially my team—has spent several years working with these counties to build up trust,” Kelly said.

“If you cannot count on an awarded grant from the federal government, who can you count on?” she said. “That is supposed to be the most reliable source that you can get. So people, I think, felt foolish and as if their time had been wasted and like, if this wasn’t going to happen there’s not going to be anything else coming down the pipeline.”

Over 400+ current and former EPA staffers released an open letter critiquing the current actions of the administration. Their boldness and speaking with one voice is encouraging and reminds me of the words of Audre Lorde.
