Matching grants up to $20,000 to activate vacant ground-floor storefronts in Downtown New Orleans.

Eligibility: Applicants must be property owners or tenants of ground-floor commercial spaces within the Downtown Development District boundary that have been vacant for at least one year and have direct frontage on a public right-of-way. National credit tenants, franchises, and certain business types (such as tattoo parlors, smoke shops, and check cashing businesses) are ineligible, and tenants must occupy no more than 10,000 square feet and demonstrate site control through a lease, letter of intent, or similar documentation.
