Salary: $180,000
Description: The Policy Director leads Tipping Point's strategic policy initiatives across program areas, positioning the organization to influence local, state, and federal policy to fight poverty in the Bay Area. This role manages a portfolio of policy-related grants, builds relationships with policymakers and advocacy partners, and translates research and lived experience into actionable policy strategies.
Qualifications: Significant experience in coalition building, advocacy, and policy creation/implementation across California; deep understanding of political and legislative processes; excellent communication skills; strong analytical and project management abilities; demonstrated ability to build relationships across internal teams, grantees, and external partners.
