Description: The Regional Strategy Director will build and lead AFC's growing team of regional state government relations directors, serving as the operational backbone for state-level flood adaptation policy efforts. This senior-level role involves designing accountability systems, coaching high-performing staff, and bridging field teams with DC headquarters. The position reports to the State Government Relations Director and requires approximately 10% travel.
Qualifications: 10+ years in strategy-focused roles with at least 5 years in formal people management; at least 3 years in state government relations, lobbying, or senior legislative staffing; strong project management and communication skills; Bachelor's Degree required.
