Description: American Progress seeks a Senior Managing Director to serve as deputy to the Senior Vice President in leading the Energy and Environment Department. This role develops high-impact advocacy strategies, manages departmental operations including a multimillion-dollar budget, and communicates complex climate policy issues to diverse audiences.

Qualifications: At least 10 years of policy or communications experience in climate, conservation, environment, or energy; at least five years managing high-output teams; bachelor's degree required, master's in public policy, economics, engineering, environmental science, or related field preferred.
