Description: Arcadia seeks a Staff Engineer for its Energy Analytics Squad to build web APIs and DBT data pipelines that power electricity cost modeling and battery performance simulations for solar and storage ROI calculations. The role involves translating SME requirements into engineering designs, contributing to a RESTful API, and improving engineering best practices across a fully remote team.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 6+ years software development experience at a SaaS or technology company; experience building REST APIs; Python and enterprise Java (Spring, Spring Boot); SQL data pipelines (Snowflake + DBT preferred); AWS deployment experience; experience with LLM adoption; Python data science ecosystem (Jupyter, Pandas, Streamlit); NoSQL databases (Mongo preferred); preferred: large-scale web API experience, energy industry domain knowledge, Kubernetes/Argo, React.
