Description: Climate Solutions seeks a Washington Transportation Policy Director to lead equitable transportation decarbonization efforts across legislative, regulatory, and local levels in Washington State. The role involves developing and advancing policy strategy around zero-emission vehicles, trucking, transit, and supportive infrastructure while building coalitions with diverse stakeholders. The position requires consistent travel to Olympia during legislative session and quarterly regional travel.
Qualifications: Expert policy analyst and advocate with deep knowledge of transportation policy landscape, experience with state legislative and regulatory advocacy, ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders including community organizations, Tribal nations, labor unions, and government agencies, and commitment to racial equity and climate justice.
