Description: Copper is hiring a builder to own how data flows through the company, architecting fleet telemetry and time-series infrastructure and building pipelines that turn product telemetry into actionable insights. This role supports diagnostic tools, CRM integrations, and AI-driven workflows underpinning Copper's electrified home appliance products.
Qualifications: 8+ years building production data infrastructure, ideally at an IoT or hardware company, with strong design fundamentals across backend, event-driven distributed systems, and storage; fluency in Python, SQL, and TypeScript; experience with time-series and warehousing, streaming/ETL pipeline design, AWS data services (IoT Core, Kinesis Firehose, S3, Athena, Lambda, ElastiCache/Redis), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
