Description: The Cooperative Development Field Director leads DAWI's national work to build the capacity, skills, and coordination of the cooperative development sector by strengthening the ecosystem of organizations and practitioners that support employee ownership. This role designs and delivers training, tools, and learning pathways for cooperative business developers while convening stakeholders across local, regional, and national ecosystems to improve coordination and scale impact. Success is defined by stronger field capacity, enhanced practitioner competency, and increased effectiveness of business transitions and cooperative development nationally.
Qualifications: 4+ years experience in small business, cooperative development, or business service ecosystems; knowledge of worker cooperative development and business transition strategies; experience designing and delivering training or capacity-building initiatives; demonstrated ability to align diverse stakeholders; strong facilitation and relationship-building skills.
