Description: Earth Island Institute is seeking an Accounting Associate to support its six-person Finance team, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable functions including processing invoices, payments, expenses, and deposits using Sage Intacct and Tipalti. The role also involves supporting staff with accounting-related needs, assisting with new Project Director orientations, and providing audit support to the Director of Finance.
Qualifications: Minimum 3 years accounting experience in a nonprofit organization; familiarity with nonprofit accounting and GAAP; BA or AA in accounting or equivalent related work experience; experience with Sage Intacct and Tipalti helpful but not required.
