Description: The Vice President, Asset Management is a pivotal leadership role at EFF, advancing its mission to ensure high-impact charter schools serving historically marginalized communities have a pathway to affordable, sustainable financing. Reporting to the Principal, Asset Management, the VP will serve as a senior steward of EFF's lending portfolio, overseeing portfolio monitoring, covenant compliance, rating agency relations, and cross-functional leadership. This role requires deep expertise in charter school lending and the ability to translate complex data into compelling, investor-ready narratives.
Qualifications: Requires 15+ years of overall professional experience and 5+ years in senior charter school lending, credit, asset management, or portfolio management roles. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; Master's preferred. Strong analytical skills including expertise in reviewing financial statements, loan performance, and complex credit analyses. Knowledge of charter school transaction structures and covenants is essential. Excellent written and oral communication skills, project management abilities, and a commitment to EFF's mission of supporting high-quality facilities for public charter schools and historically underserved communities. Willingness to travel regularly (8-10 times per year).
