Description: trubel&co is seeking a Manager of HR, Finance & Operations to serve as the sole internal lead across finance, human resources, and operations. This high-ownership role includes running biweekly payroll, managing multi-round hiring cycles, overseeing compliance and financial reporting, and acting as a strategic thought partner to the Executive Director. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with autonomy, and passionate about building durable systems within a growing nonprofit advancing equitable STEM education.

Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in operations, finance, HR, or a combination in a small nonprofit, startup, or similar organization; experience managing payroll (Gusto preferred) and benefits administration; demonstrated ability to manage multi-state compliance, contractor classification, and employment law requirements; strong financial literacy; experience running end-to-end hiring cycles; high proficiency in Google Workspace, Airtable, and Slack.
